Confidence, Connection and Opportunity — SCCDE supports youth, women and other vulnerable individuals who are navigating unemployment, gaps in education or social isolation. Through mentorship, structured learning and partnerships with service providers, participants can strengthen practical skills, build networks and identify pathways toward their goals.
Practical Guidance for Seniors, Families and Vulnerable Individuals — finding the right service can be difficult when information is unfamiliar, highly technical or spread across different organizations. SCCDE helps seniors, families and other vulnerable individuals understand options and connect with appropriate providers through service-provider partnerships.
Celebrating Culture. Building Understanding. — SCCDE creates opportunities for cultural awareness, intercultural understanding and public education, helping Somali and newcomer communities share their culture with the wider Edmonton community while building connection across backgrounds.
